My husband and I live with our two children and our animals in the beautiful, rural Roßtal in Middle Franconia.

We have lots of wonderful forest and Meadow paths, streams, small rivers and meadows.

As a dog lover from childhood on, several dog breeds have already enriched our lives.

On this page we would like to give you a small / large insight into the Leonbergers and our experiences with them.

In 2012 we got our first Leonberger lady "Hiraja" as a playmate for our Leo-Bernese mixed breed "Leo". With this we got our lot, because as a Leonberger she fulfilled our idea of a strong, calm, balanced, affectionate, very child-friendly and cuddly family dog. For us the perfect breed.

With Hiraja, we quickly enjoyed exhibitions and Leo meetings. In 2014 "Joyvita" came to our house, according to the motto: "a Leo is not a Leo".

Our Leos can be anywhere in the house and garden. They are not kept in the kennel, but live as full family members with us in the house. This is very important for the character development of a Leonberger, because a dog personality like the Leonberger needs a lot of love, affection and family connection in order to be happy and to be able to develop its wonderful characteristics. A Leonberger wants to live with his owners and be with them, so he follows unconditionally.
