why a DCLH puppy

W.arum a puppy from the DCLH breeder

What does a puppy cost:

A puppy costs time, patience, nerves, money, grief, worries, but above all it gives you an incomparable love and a loyalty that hardly exists among humans and is unparalleled. Yes, and it still costs you something, it costs you a large part of your heart.

Why are a puppy from DCLH / VDH

The FCI is the worldwide association for the dog industry. In Germany the VDH (all breeds) is subordinate to the FCI and the DCLH (Deutscher Club Leonbergerhunds in turn subordinate to the VDH. In Germany it is the only association / club recognized by the worldwide umbrella organization FCI. The reason for this is that all breeders are in the VDH and DCLH are subject to certain health, animal welfare and breeding rules. We have to follow strict requirements regarding health, mating and keeping such as HD examinations, LPN 1 & 2, LEMP etc.
Nor can we simply put a dog into breeding before it has passed some shows, licensing and all health tests. To list everything here now would lead too far.

In other associations or clubs, the dogs are also given papers, but they are allowed to do so Not be bred in the VDH / DCLH, as these associations / clubs do not belong to the VDH / FCI.
Due to the requirements that we meet in the DCLH, considerable costs are incurred due to considerable additional effort and the many examinations and tests. Of course, we cannot promise you a perfectly healthy dog / puppy, but we try to breed a healthy and long-lasting friend with a stable personality through additional examinations and depending on the result, also by excluding some animals from breeding.
